Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Re-connecting water to vacant property

Hi, I'm looking to buy a property that has been vacant for 10 years which was connected to the public water supply. To get the water turned on again, is it likely I would need to go through the whole process for a brand new connection?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

You can switch your supply on/off using the outside stop valve located in your meter box, when safe to do so. It might be the case that water needs to be turned back on.

If the supply is fully disconnected, you will need to apply for a new connection, you can find more information here.

    I hope this information helps.

    Kind regards,
    Agata
