    Can you not discuss one thing without jumping to another? Cowen's story was ignored until now. That's a media query not forgetting comparison to how Daly was treated.

    Nope. It was a few people discussing the latest political news. You didnt like it and tried to change it to SF. That would make you the bot.

    SF have apologised for any hurt caused by their holding a funeral.
    Straight up...they didn't wait 4 years to do that or until they were exposed..like Cowen and Kellegher.

    If you are waiting for SF to apologise for actually having or going to a funeral, I think you'll be waiting and rightfully so in my opinion.

    Accepting that almost all of the breaches in Belfast occurred in Mayo, would you be asking anyone to apologise for going to the state funeral?

    I was, going to reply to Bowie and this popped, up, so both.

    They apologised for any hurt caused, not for the, fact they were there and defend that by saying they did nothing wrong.

    It was against any regs to be there. SF's organisation of the event was wrong and adherence to social distancing was wrong IMO. They say it wasn't and I guess we will have to see what the police say.

    So given that, we will move on in the near future to see what the punishments are for wrongdoing. Will Cowen and Kellegher be punished I wonder or will they be given a pass by their party leader?

    Yes. And it will be up to the police to decide if SF were responsible for the behaviour of the crowds who turned up.
    As McBride pointed out they had 1800 stewards/marshalls there so they did make some effort.

    We'll see what the police say.

    Back on that, Michael has said he accepts Cowens apology and he feels he has genuine remorse.
    So unless outside pressure makes him change his mind it looks like he will do nothing.
    I wonder will cowen make a Dáil statement and apologise there too. Its been a humiliating weekend for him and he deserves it all.

    Animal welfare is a serious issue in this country and one of the main problems ls lack of enforcement/prosecution.
    Now we have a Govt minister 'delivering a letter' in relation to the 4th prosecution of a farmer banned 10 years ago from farming due to animal cruelty.

    That is sickening. I am looking forward to this FFG government showing their true colours.
