    Do we really need another left wing party?

    The Social Democrats sort of fills that void along with People Before Profit etc.

    A Left Green Party perhaps.

    That won't change the Greens still being in government. Catherine Martin has signed up to it now. She's stuck now.

    It is going exactly how many of us predicted it would, albeit a little bit quicker than many of us envisaged it might.

    Not the most auspicious of beginnings at all. Think it was supposed to wrap up today and come back in September. There's nothing more scheduled after today as far as I can see.

    A Green party with some sense of ethics and a care for the tax payer. Not all Green 'solutions' need be heavy on taxation. To cite my old pal Enda, it's as much to do with 'changing the way we do business'.

    Of course not. They say in Australia that you should never work for a paddy boss. They will work you hard. Our politicians are paddy bosses. It's in the Irish psyche. Greed and an idea that once in power you are better than those below you.

    The EU are looking to push an eu wide levy which will include a tax on big tech. This will affect the cash that the exchequer collects from them. Vital money for Ireland. A tax take figure that will be higher than the total amount of vat collected this year.

    Misery, austerity and tax increases. We ain't seen nothing yet

    If you mean pulling down the government then it's a bit better than evens at present. If you mean behaving like they are in government then they are definitely going to lose a few bodies.

    Some of the ‘leaders’ need to grow a set and shunt these ‘individuals’ out.

    The need to realise they are now plAying for a team, not a la carte players.

    Ryan is a greedy coward who would drop Hourigan in a heartbeat, but Martin would never allow it.

    The Bill put forward today was a farce and Hourigan was right to call it out for what it was.
