FF have already destroyed their 2nd chance. They are a laughing stock.

So did Dara last longer than Cowen??

    Apparently not.

Says the man who sits on boards all day and has been on here ranting all morning at other posters.

I thought you said earlier "it doesn't matter what [you] think"?

Excessive amount of posts and and opinions from someone who believes they're not worth much.

    ---

I'm shocked that he's gone so quick. The FF thickheadedness isn't what it used to be, even just weeks ago.

Next up... Jackie boy no doubt. Fresh FF blood right there.

Do you think this would actually stop him leading the country in the future?

Even FF arrogance doesn't stretch that far. Dara Calleary will never be Taoiseach. That made me laugh. The best he can hope for is Club Captain.

0% chance. His flawed party will become irrelevant soon.

Do you think he was on that sort of trajectory before being cruelly taken down by his own stupidity?

    Is it 2010/11 again :P:P

Im sure I heard that about MM, Good Man Michael, got to the top job in the end.....

Not sure how many times I keep getting told FF are irrelevant.....I will wait and see

If he does become leader he will be leading a party on 7-8%. Michael having successfully taken them to those figures.

    More and more bizarre.

Surely this guy has to go too?

Like someone said earlier, I wanted this government to work for the sake of the country, but it repeatedly shows how bad it is.

Does anyone know if a general election is possible in the current environment? Although I'm not sure how conclusive the results would be.

Lookit if MM did one thing right after the series of debacles recently, was that he obviously called in his troops and said to them that the next person to “make a mistake” will be gone before his/her tea gets cold.

That’s why Calleary was gone so quickly.

The media and internet soldiers will now go after Big Phil.

He is a slippery fish and won’t be taken down easily.

A big cock up in the schools will sink this coalition....all depends on Norma.

Not stuff I like saying but unfortunately rank incompetence and lack of cop on and social awareness forces it on me.

The head of the banking payments federation Ireland in attendance who incorrectly pointed out the banks were not profiteering from Covid ,with the judge that precised over the Anglo Ireland trials. The AG that gave FG advice that rights to housing was anti constitutional. Oh and former RTE journalist Sean O'Rourke. All at the same event. Crony class had a strong representation here.

Yeah I’ve said similar on this thread & others- it’s on Norma now.

If the schools become a mess then the coalition will come down

    Great minds Gill ,great minds.....

She got off the hook this morning on the school busses issue.

The rookie goalkeeper is between the sticks for the last five mins of the All Ireland Final hanging on to a one point lead and down to 13 players:D

He needs to come out and say exactly what he witnessed, even if he implicates himself in the process, if he has any concern for his own and RTE's credibility with the wider public.

It was said by Merkel I think, that locking down is the easy part, opening up is the difficult part. So hard to see the schools not getting messy.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to have an election with these restrictions in place?

I’ll be totally surprised if there’s any kind of a ‘hard interview’involved.

Doubt if we’ll hear from him today....

BH only has to answer to bankers. They wouldn't mind if he was spending his leisure time sacrificing children to satan as long as gets them what they want from the state.
