So no examples of 'loads' of these type of events. No answer to how it is communicated.

    Okie doke. :)

There would be hundreds of thousands of events every year where photographs don't make it into the public domain.

In fact, the default requirement under GDPR is that you need the permission of the person being photographed to publish it after any event.

Prurient interest from a politically motivated anonymous internet poster isn't sufficient of a public interest to override GDPR - I think I explained this on here weeks ago.

I did re-read and I don't see a single 'example' of this type of event, just plenty of insistence that they do take place among a 'certain set'.

I also see no examples of how this 'no camera' request is communicated.

You are drowning here in a sea of your own making again Redgirl.

If 'loads' of these type of events happen tell us about one.

Did you manage to get past all you're post to get to #8668.

If you can't understand that every event is not a group of "how r ya's" splashing everything on social media that is not my concern. I have tried to explain, you are incapable of understanding the concept so will leave it at that.

There are NO examples in that post...just your ongoing insistence that these events happen.

And we still await info on how this no camera rule is communicated/policed.

Is there really a secret set socialising in Ireland that behave differently to the other sets?

Strange omerta again if you won't give an example of one of these events.

Watching the Dail here. Seems the minister for health has gone missing and FFG wont allow a debate on the new covid plan and Dublin restrictions (Level 3.71).

Saw that earlier on twitter...meeting cancelled tomorrow etc. Any word on what's going on?

I have explained it several times to you - GDPR.

The fact that you and others choose to ignore GDPR is actually a more important issue.

So anytime someone posts a pic of themselves at an event it is a breach of GDPR? Really?

Anyone can post a selfie of themselves at an event, so long as nobody else is in the picture. If anyone else is in the picture, they need the permission of that person.

It is common enough when registering for events and conferences to indicate whether you are giving permission for your photograph to be used. You can tell the badly organised conferences and events by the fact they don't ask.

Blanch- think you might have missed this question I asked you

If you can see racism on the thread then why arent you reporting it? Or are you just playing the race card because you dont have a coherent argument? It would seem the latter to me.

Quick question blanch- if you had knowledge of who caused the murder of 33 Irish citizens would you go to the Gardai and tell them? Thats a simple yes or no question.

Just post a like example of an event like a golf dinner, where you are asked not to take pics.

Why the big problem/omerta here between the two of you now.

One example and how they they tell you not to take pics at a dinner.

Yes it is a secret society. You are clearly not a part of it.

Why the f**k would you want to take a picture of someone eating dinner?

    False.

If it's in a public place a photo of t he event can be taken (eg a march or assembly).
If in private property, and the photo is to be used for profit or marketing, then consent is needed. Not otherwise.

Not the question Redgirl...people take pics at events ALL the time. Yet at this two day event nobody took a single one it seems.

Now do you have examples of how this is achieved or not? YOU have claimed that 'loads of these events' happen here, not me.

    https://www.rte.ie/news/2020/0922/1166635-cabinet-ireland/
The Taoiseach has defended the Government's decision to appoint ten special advisers for Junior Ministers.
    .
    .
    .
    Covid Committee meeting postponed

The Taoiseach told the Dáil that the Oireachtas Covid Committee has been rescheduled for next week rather than tomorrow as the Health Minister, the head of the HSE and the Acting Chief Medical Officer are finalising the Winter Plan.

Opposition deputies have complained that this week's sitting had been cancelled at short notice.

A new plan, cant wait ;)

No...I find it particularly relevant to this event and frankly to yours and blanch's behaviour.

There are 'loads' of these events - you have 'examples' but you won't name one.

Can you think of another word to describe that? 'Evasive'?
    'Defensive'? 'Spin and nonsense'?

As I thought. You have just been on another fairly blatant spoof to try and defend this event.
Wasn't hard to reveal it for what it was Redgirl.

    You were spoofing Redgirl.

I know that an event where there is an embargo on cameras is rare.

You have not disproved that in the slightest.
You made a bit of a fool of yourself actually.

Who said the Government in the North have no power? Your talking nonsense trying to deflect that Mickey lied in the dail (again)

Mickey said Sinn Fein cant talk about the amount of advisors and their wages, as they get paid more up North.

14 advisors in total up North get paid less than the total amount of "Advisors" in the Republic.

Now you can talk as much ****e, and deflect, deflect deflect. Its a fact he lied but your still defending him.

Good job the general public see right through FF and FG now

BrendanFlash, you and your merry band of B.O.Ts are close to being reduced to dribbling wrecks going on the contributions on this and other threads. Someone remarked earlier that this government will stumble on for a 2-3 more years.

You'll be a permanent resident in John of Gods if that happens. Your bizzare oblique references to magpies and other avians are sure-fire indicators of that.

The people of Ireland have clearly stopped listening to the government and NPHET. I truly believe that the Clifden dinner had a major influence on that. I don't think I have ever seen the population so angry as it was after that event and Hogan's magical mystery your. The other factor is the chaotic communications coming from FF ministers for the most part. How can the government can get back hearts and minds? How can they restore confidence? Is it too late?

Any suggestions from the government supporters?
