Except with bicycles it didnt.....the price did not increase.....

What happens is the bike shops will top up if you are under the 1k, selling helmets etc.....so to make sure you use up full amount.

The fact that FF don't have many female TDs.

If that were the case, then Anne Rabbitte would have gotten the call-up.

Mark my words, he has the power to turn the country against this government by himself. And he will.

I hate them all equally. I do like Pascal Donahue though. Always calm ,well spoken and informed. Seems like a very intelligent man. Has a great c.v too . He will go much further into Europe.

Il enjoy the country turning on Ryan.
Happy to see Charlie Flanagan gone too

The Dublin Metro has to be in serious question now. In the Post Covid World with remote working and only essential travel there is no demand for a metro to bring people from an empty airport to empty office blocks in the ifsc.

The greens can get far more of their projects in place by killing that project and diverting it into bus services, cycle lanes etc.
Similarly, if you don't need a metro in a part covid Ireland, presumably you don't need more buses either.

You accused me of lack of understanding on the Navan line. When I point out to you that a report is available you accuse me of arrogance?

    https://www.nationaltransport.ie/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Navan_Corridor_Study.pdf

    Read the report.

In regards to the Limerick to Cork, the only issue is the lack of vision.

Why should we repeat the same mistake multiple times? do you think that is clever?

So far Ireland has invested billions in roads and has managed to resolve nothing. So your answer is to invest more in roads?

    Got to love a trier

You produce a 5 year old report that is out of date, but hide the fact that a later version of that report found that a train link to Navan would be economically not viable and simply would not carry sufficient numbers of commuter to make it worth while. Instead they proposed a Bus solution using the N3 that is now a viable bus route as most of the traffic is now using the M3.

If you wanted an argument for a motorway you have just made it yourself.
Get the through traffic that has no need to be clogging up and poluting towns and villages onto motorways and bypasses so that the local roads are now available for local bus routes and safer for local traffic and cyclists.

That's an awful cabinet. Some very weak people in there. Surprised to see McEntee getting justice, glad to see the back of Flanagan but I would think justice would need a more senior politicians in there. Donnelly in health is not going to do much to.improve the health services. I'd say the knives will out in FF.

In fairness, it's not a bad cabinet at all in my opinion.

There is some weakness in there but there is a lot of competence as well (mostly from the FG side it has to be said).

Being a member of the FF Foley dynasty in Tralee has obviously done her no harm in MM`s eyes. The more things change the more they stay the same.

As mentioned previously, female talent in FF is thin on the ground
