Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks,
I asked this in the wifi forum but might be more relevant here.

I'm getting a virgin media hub delivered tomorrow. I'm guessing it's hub version 3. We had virgin broadband a few years ago so should be easy install.

I run eir modem in bridge mode. I've read there's a modem mode on the virgin hub but you need to request to be switched to ipv4?

    Has anyone done this recently?

    Have Google WiFi

    Cheers,
    Mick

Yes, if you get a public ipv6 address, you need to ask Virgin Media customer care to switch you to IPv4, reboot the modem and then you can switch to modem/bridged mode

Modem arrived today. Connect up and worked immediately. Was on ip6 so got onto VM online chat. They changed to ip4. Had to reset modem and then it came up fresh with modem mode available for selection. All sorted
