Professional Data Recovery - any recommendations ?

A friend's external hard drive has died after 10 years - had all the holiday photos etc No other backup available. No noises, no lights - just dead. Using it in an USB caddy fried the caddy. used to use these when i worked for a MSP. quick enough turn around time, it wont be cheap. its a costly reminder about having multiple copies of data backed up in different locations.
