MacBook Air not holding charge (plugged in) while using Zoom

Bizarre thing with my Air when Im using Zoom. I have the 2018 Air and when I use Zoom, it doesn't hold its charge while plugged in. The dock icon shows charging symbol but the percentage decreases at a rate of about 9-10% per 3 hours. I also have WhatsApp and Safari open. It only happens when Zoom is used. Theres nothing…

Theres nothing wrong with the Air, battery life is good etc. Anyone come across this?

Zoom uses pretty heavy video compression and decompression in use, so does typically drain power quickly.

I don't use Zoom but I do know when I started using MS Teams for calls 12 months back I had the same problem - it was very battery heavy - not as bad now
