Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need new modem

    My Eir modem was blown by thunder storm. My landline is ok. Where can I buy a replacement modem? Thanks in advance

    You can ring Eir and they'll send one out. Tell them to shove it if they tell you have to enter a new year long contract. It's their equipment so it's on them to provide you with the service. I've only experience with ADSL and lightening strikes in which case any ADSL modem will do. Just enter the Eir details and sync settings in the new modem/router. May be the same for VDSL but I'll let someone else in the know chime in for that.

    Check adverts etc. if you want to pick one up quickly.
