He cycled out of the post office and turned right, you turn left to go to the school. I live about a mile away from there

Why are Foil Arms and Hog sketches funnier on Youtube?

Foil, Arms and Hog were very good to be fair. Summed up that particular phenomenon anyway :D

The people who have been most impacted by Covid are those that died, surely?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,436 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Do you think I could apply for a charity grant?
    They didn't specify.
I feel like I should get compensation for getting my hopes up.

I don't disagree, but it wouldn't be up there with most of their sketches for me.

Whoever's idea it was to not go with a text number is an idiot. Comic Relief in UK always have one.

Is that why eoin wasn’t on the breakfast show all week so he could rehearse for this?

Ah, flip did I miss Pat?

This is a good idea, but I can't deny the feeling that I'm primed and ready to cringe at any moment.

My mam & I were seeing Deirdre's gatecrashing Siobhán Ryan's weather forecast. All I can say is JHC!

Yep it was cringy wasn't it.

Mind you Siobhan's get up was pretty hot! The missus and I decided that Jean Byrne must have given Siobhan some of her surplus leather bondage gear!

Why would Pat Shortt's sketch have been funny in 1995 but not in 2020?

€500,000 raised in one hour from the average Joe, who also pays for a TV licence. Could have raised about the same by shaving 20% off the salary of RTE's 'top' 20, just like many companies have done to the average Joe.

Probably away having that jacket he's wearing made from the fluff off the seats of a 1982 Ford Cortina.

Because when I was 7 years old I might have laughed at the idea of a Kerryman with a hurley.

Shame David O'Doherty is (presumably) not on this.

His Isolating podcast finished today after doing an episode every day from Achill where he was with his parents during lockdown.

I've listened to every single one, but I don't know if I'm able for the last one ever. Twas the best thing about this who mess.

David McSavage doing his finest Joe Duffy would have been ideal tonight.

Is this bit about Micheál Martin being made Taoiseach part of Comic Relief?

I mean, he was a TD in the goverment that brought the country to it's knees, right?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,763 ✭✭✭ShatterProof

Who is the guy in the chair asking the questions?

Colm O’Regan. Think he wrote the Irish mammies / Anne Devine books

3 hours of the Bull Mick was the way to go for this. I’d have donated.

The rest of the cast would have collectively choked on their soy lattes

    No. He was a Minister.

I wish RTE and Irish Independent would stop thinkiing that firstly Amy Huberman is anyway funny or that Irish people view her and BOD as a special celebrity couple.

She was in it? OK that's it. The Indo will declare it "a triumph".
