Hi, I have cucumber variety ‘marketer’ in my greenhouse, it’s a non hybrid open pollinator. I was looking for information regarding whether I hand pollinate the female flowers with the male flowers. There are lots of male flowers and only a few female flowers. Should I pollinate the few female flowers and then cut off the male flowers or just leave the plant alone and do nothing. Some websites are classifying this variety as an outdoor variety and no hand pollination is required. Confused with this conflicting information, any help greatly appreciated.
