Triple Watford defence ... I’ll have what you’re smoking.

They are cheap, play and, Watford still have something to play for. Plus looking at fixtures, in last 8 games they have Burnley, Southampton, Norwich and, West Ham. No way will I be playing all 3 any week if I can help it. My biggest problem is I'll probably have to play Foster even if I don't want to.

Will there be any double gameweeks to come due to the FA cup and potential replays ?

No. Cup games are already factored into the schedule, and there is no replays after the 4th round.

The only way there will be another DGW is an unexpected postponement eg: a positive Covid 19 test.

As KM said earlier a lot of injuries and rotation happen in that Watford defence.

I think you’d be better off going for Lascelles and Holgate for the two Hornets.

I say all this as a Cathcart owner myself!

Going with this on FH unless anyone tells me otherwise:-)

    DDG (Martinez)
    TAA, Doherty, Aurier (Kiko, Kilman)
    Mane, KDB, Richarlison, Fernandes (Guendouzi)
    Jimenez, Rashford, DCL.

Justin and nyland are wasted money you could get vvd instead of gomez by downgrading both

    Good thinking. Thanks.

Think I'm gonna go with the FH now with VVD, Lascelles & Martin instead of Nyland, Gomez & Justin.

I don't think Mahrez will start again against Chelsea after starting 2 in a row and also with Sterling being rested.

I'm gonna switch up PEA & Vardy over the next few weeks, to get them at their best fixtures. Will have them playing against Brighton, Norwich & Crystal Palace. Maybe move to Jesus then for the run in as Aguero is out.

    Jesus for Aguero??

    Or Kane?

Already have Jimi & Vardy. Lost Leno already this week so this is a -4.

    Neither !

So who would you go with? I'm in the same situation although no points hit.

So who replaces Aguero?? Rashford or Kane. Rashford looked a lot more threatening than Kane the other night and both have good fixtures.

Have contemplated taking PEA and aguero out for Kane and Rashford too.

Have seen nothing from Kane that makes him remotely interesting

I would not touch Kane, but if you have PEA and already took a price hit on him, it is worth noting they are playing Norwich in GW32 and may be a hold until then.

Latest go at a free hit (no money left):

    Martinez (Martin)
    TAA Doherty Holgate/Lascelles (Robinson,Simpson)
    KDB Son Fernandes Mane (Guendouzi)
    DCL Jimenez Rashford

Not sure who to pick out of Holgate or Lascelles, both have good fixtures.
Trying to pick the most attacking team with the best fixtures. Not sure if I should downgrade Son to someone, was originally going to leave out KDB but think it's too risky.

Resisting the urge for a last minute PEA to Vardy switch

Think Villa are gonna change style significantly and treat this as a must win game, much better chance of the Everton clean sheet imo.

    Free hit:

    Patricio
    Aurier TAA Doherty
    Fernandes Son Richarlison Sarr
    Jimenez Rashford Vardy (C)

    Martin, AWB, Saka, Justin.

Small bit left in the bank. lack of more Lpool cover is a worry. Son is just about holding his spot in that team from Maddison

Why so much cash on the bench? Was there nobody not in your 11 that you would want more than who you have? Could probably get Richarlison to one of the Liverpool midfield 2 with that bench cash.

I can downgrade that full bench if I wanted too. I can afford literally any one player and can swap around as need be. I've some ground to make up though so going against the tide and hoping for a Salah/KDB/Mane blank.

If some team news comes through where Vardy doesnt start I'll be swapping Son/Vardy to Kane(!)/Maddison

Would you not downgrade the bench to free up some further cash? Heres my free-hit team.

    --- Martinez

    - Aurier - TAA -- Doherty

    Fernandes -- Son -- Salah -- Traore

    ---- Jiminez -- Vardy -- Rashford

Same kind of team so. I cant see how Salah is fit, wont last 90 anyway. Slow first halfs in games are the norm at the min. Traore is another man with minutes being managed. Both only need 10mins on the field either way but after last night, I'd like to see Sarr up against that Burnley backline. I think this gameweek is up in the air for starting XI's which partially explains a stronger bench.

Are you expecting a Wolves clean sheet or just Doherty attacking returns?

    Hopefully both !
    Bournemouth are my cryptoniite though

Yeah Bournemouth are the biggest troll team in FPL history imo.

I'd love a Wolves clean sheet with Boly and Doherty but even if it goes, Matt's attacking threat is still there to reap some rewards.
