A thread surrounding Black Lives Matter, It's gone far beyond Black lives mattering at this stage. Since we had a thread that spoke down to us telling us what BLM was this is a thread highlighting what they really are.

What they seem to want is an ethnostate provided as reparations.

This is a subject that fits well with the attitude of society these days. The message is that if you're not 100% on board with #blacklivesmatter then you're clearly a horrible racist.

I think BLM is a sh*tty organisation who thrive on race baiting. If they're genuinely worried about black lives, why don't they show up to protest when thousands upon thousands of young black men are killing each other every year?

Instead they only pop up when there is a high profile murder of a black person by a white person. They organise mass protests, which are often accompanied by mass riots and looting.


Why don't they push for real things that are tangible and realistic, like police reform or policy changes at a governmental level?

Instead they squeal about defunding the police entirely, leaving the streets rife for rampant criminality. I have yet to hear any substantial suggestions from the BLM organisation with regards to reform or public policy.

Why don't they try to support families in black communities?

Instead they ignore the fact that a huge majority of black kids are growing up in single parent homes where the one parent (usually mother) has to work her ass off and just doesn't have time to dedicate to helping with education, ensuring that they're steering clear of gangs etc. Meanwhile BLM openly strive against the concept of the traditional family unit.

The lack of father figures is a massive issue facing these kids and BLM not only don't care, they boast about opposing the traditional western family structure.

You might be as good as to outline what the "concept of the traditional family unit" means, just so we're all clear as to what we're refefrring to. In addition you might give a link or two to where BLM show they're against it.

The BLM rubbish in America is hogwash. It has everything to do with rioters, looters, black people with a massive chip on their shoulders looking for excuses to blame white people for the fact they did nothing with their own lives and liberals/democrats to use the ''movement'' as a protest against Donald Trump. George Floyd's (a criminals) death only gave them an excuse.

Or evidence showing they are ignorant of the issue of fatherless families - which is an utterly baffling suggestion in several respects, not the least of which being that many people who align with the movement grew up in a fatherless home.
