The difference is this guy was there looking for help/asylum not liberation.

Can't you see this for what it is without comparisons with events over 40 years ago?

If it's the same person who runs the website they're beyond left leaning.

Sure our national broadcaster ran with a story on the site yesterday of "7 ways you can support BLM businesses" or something like that.
What kind of nonsense is that for our broadcaster to be publishing.

What's wrong with RTE endorsing a good cause?

Ah brilliant so all the people who the IRA pulverised with bombs down the years were 'liberated?' That's different though they were White.

The attack(s) is now described as a terror incident.
The stabbing attacks in Reading are being treated as a terrorist incident, police have confirmed - and the 25-year-old suspect is believed to be a Libyan asylum seeker.

Head of UK Counter Terror Police Neil Basu said the suspect, who has been named as Khairi Saadallah, "ran into Forbury Gardens and attacked members of the public with a knife" at around 7pm yesterday.

Suppose that the key difference is that the IRA were political, they didn't want to change England but remove it from Ireland.

Islamic Jihadism states again and again that things like listening to music, alcohol, improper clothing, failure to convert, tolerance of gays, etc. are all key drivers of their campaign and are listed by orgs like ISIS as more important than anything on the Middle East.

Khairi Saadallah, 24, of Coronation Square, Reading. Common assault of an emergency worker. Imprisoned for two months consecutive.

Sydney McDonald told a jury that the man in the dock, Khairi Saadallah, had become enraged when, as a guard, he had accused him of stealing a bottle from the Sainsbury’s store.

The 25-year-old defendant had punched Mr McDonald in the face, rushed at him with a broken bottle of a wine and whipped his face with a belt, the jury was told.

I am talking about in the UK,and you are the one defending terrorists, not me.
    I am not even Irish.
It seems like this is a sensitive subject to you.
And why do you think the real IRA does the same?

Yep, their anti-white/right rhetoric is beyond belief.

It completely ignored mass gathering protests implications on covid then actually had the nerve to say a trump rally was due to go ahead despite covid concerns. King hell....

I don't support the IRA or its murder campaign, but comparisons with modern Islamist terrorism are facile.

In most instances the PIRA went to considerable lengths to avoid civilian casualties, which were not an objective. Islamist terror aims to cause maximum civilian casualties.

PIRA had realistic political aims, that they could compromise on, and entered negotiations with the British shortly after being founded.
Islamist terror has the aim of ethno-cultural conquest, and will compromise at nothing less than your total submission.

As soon as there is a terror incident there is always the "what about the IRA!?" posts.

Can political bombing attacks 30 years ago be compared to religious knife attacks today?

have the victims been named yet?

heard the reading mayor on LBC and predictably as with these globalist scum had to mention the D word.
reading has always been a diverse place and always celebrated diversity (really????? has it always been a diverse town? ffs)
everyone asked not to share the videos going around and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the murders. very quick to come to say nobody else is been looked for in connection. very careful not to call it terrorist related, of course that changed in the past two hours. i find it very suspicious that they dont think, so early on that nobody else is connected.

wont be contributing anymore. work duties. just wanted to know who are the victims.

Do you feel the same way about videos of dead and dying Syrians? Blown to smithereens and videos of the carnage shown across the entirety of the Western media?
What about Palestinians ? Or a dead child on a beach? Are you outraged by those videos?

    You are an actualy prick
Who do think makes those videos in Syria or Iraq
The MSM are not at the scene as soon as a bomb goes off

Yes. It highlights the hypocrisy of some of the criticism of Islamist terrorism from some quarters. A sort of : my terrorism was noble, but theirs is barbaric, type hypocrisy.

There was a BLM protest in Reading yesterday. And then people were stabbed afterwards. Ofcourse people are going to think there's a connection. You can bet the Lybian used the BLM protest as cover.

There is the air of possiibility some slightly eh, more impressionable folk are acting out under influence of the current climate though. Some may say probability for instance how likely was it the week a man was mourned having siezed a police officers weapon in the USA a Gardaí lost his life under similar enough circumstances?

Something which just does not happen here. It’s too much of a coincidence, and from what we’re led to believe this man wasn’t all there either and this having witnessed events in the park that day will have been his way of joining the party so to speak

You mean there was no critisism of IRA in the 80s and 90s for their acts?
Or because its religious motivated extremists that does it today?
Problem today it doesnt effect only Ireland and UK,but the whole of Europe.
    Thats the difference.
