This is re my fibreglass car. The bootlid has lacquer peel and the underlying white has small craters with the undercoat showing through. I’m thinking of sanding it all back and using toplac to roll and brush tip . How good of a finish can you get with this paint and by rolling and tipping method ?

I painted. this one with toplac and rolled and tipped it, to get the piano black finish it takes a bit of work sanding going from 1000 grit to 3000 then rubbing compound and then wax.

I’ve bought some hempel paint. Undercoat and top gloss from mb fibreglass in the north. Wondering what roller and brush you find best for rolling and tipping. ?

I like these as they don't fall apart if you use thinners, wrap some tape around it to pull out any loose hair before you start.
