Recommend a new PC - buy/pre-built i7 16GB ?

A friend has asked me to recommend a new PC.

It will be used to run a commercial software package with the following recommended specs.

Windows 10 (64-bit)

16 GB RAM

i7 Processor 2.5Ghz

Nvidia 1070 8GB GDDR / Nvidia RTX 2060 6GB

500Gb SSD Hard drive

He was looking at this one - my initial thoughts are that there may be better value out there.

I will suggest Dell to them. Good point about support.


Is there anything pre-built at the likes of Komplett, Currys/Harvey Norman or even Argos/Amazon that would be suitable?


I suspect that 32GB Ram or 1TB SSD may not be needed for the application mentioned.

Currys have terrible after sales care. In fairness none of the bricks and mortar shops are great. CCL or Dell or a like would be my suggestion also. If you have to go B&M then Argos if you can find something without terrible specs.
