Opinions - Laptop Spec for a Designer

Could I get opinions (and alternatives if you have any) for this laptop spec below.
The laptop would be used in a designer role and would need to run the following on the regular:

• Autocad
• SketchUp
• InDesign
• Photoshop

Specifications are:
Intel Core G2 i7-4910MQ
16GB DDR4-SDRAM,
512GB SSD,
NVIDIA Quadro K2100M
LAN, WLAN, Bluetooth, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

the asus g14 would do the job well - powerful cpu and graphics card, colour accurate screen, great battery life, light, solid metal build.

would run those apps no issue.

the £1200 model with the 1650ti would be enough. the amd cpu beats that intel easily

cpu is over 3, nearly 4 times as powerful

the 1650ti is leagues ahead of the k2100m also

in general that spec is a 5 or 6 year old spec

e.g the cpu dates from 2014 and the k2100m gpu from 2013

did you take a look?

this one is actually in stock for a 100 cheaper. cpu is still plenty strong.

They went for the Asus g14 in the end. Thanks Glasso for all that info. Very helpful.

Would you have any insight as to a cradle/docking station for the g14?
There is this one but I'm not 100% sure if its compatible:

looks good but if you're using the graphics card you'll need more than 90 watts total power.
