I don't think I ever saw Columbo throw a punch either, or even grab someone's arm to put the bracelets on them - doesn't diminish his 'kick ass crimefighting-edness' for me though, even if he wouldn't last 5 seconds against Bodie in a punch-up . Never seen him with a gun either.

One episode I think he blagged his way out of going to the range to see if his shooting skills were up to scratch :pac:

Yeah, Bodie's up against some thread heavyweights. It's not fair, but as an ex army man I'm sure he'd have a good chuckle and be philosophical about it all :pac:

I suppose he's one of the 'bottom seeds' having gained re-entry through a wildcard, or the will of the posters. Probably why he's in the mix with the big guns He's got a fighting chance, his back's to the wall, but he's gotten through tougher scrapes, often without his mate Doyle.

Too true Plenty - but watching the reruns on ITV4 this poster gets the impression that there are a few seconds cut here and there and some words dubbed over perhaps :pac:
