If you where a Chelsea player you'd want to kill Christensen. Keeping us at arms length, no real great chances except a few crosses flashing across the goal.

Now we can up the tempo and push a little more. Always thought we play the start of the second half very well

Perfect use of VAR. Looks like the ref wasn’t sure that Mane would get to the ball, and being behind the play wouldn’t have seen how bad the foul actually was. So give a yellow and while play is stopped go over to the tv and confirm.

Now if they could do that consistently they’d be set.

Every replay of the Christensen 'tackle' looks worse and worse... brainless stuff.

Generally speaking I'm really surprised he plays as much as he does, looks a thoroughly rubbish defender. I know the other lads are out at the moment, but he's been picked ahead of Zouma and Rudiger plenty of times before.

If you're the ref you'll go with yellow knowing it'll be reviewed, better to show yellow than give red and then downgrade to yellow which just looks more embarrassing I think.

Won't change a huge amount for them I'd say. Contain and play on the break was their gameplan and will be in the second half. Lampard was clearly concerned about getting a spanking after playing so openly in the last game against Liverpool.
