The first reply to John W was from an account called FSG out with "spend some fcuking money now."
The world has watched the fierce determination of this club on the field for every single match – the preparation, the resolve and the talent of those who put together perhaps the greatest league performance ever in any country's history.
This in addition to winning a European championship, a Super Cup and a world championship -- the totality of this accomplishment has brought respite and joy to so many in a year filled with so much tragedy. LFC has made the beautiful game more beautiful than ever.
It is said, “We are Liverpool.” You, the supporters are Liverpool in every sense and you continue to drive the club forward -- a historic club making history once again.

93-94 for me, also 7, Rush 9 my first jersey (still have it!). Been a long wait

Feared after last year tbh, up against the finance and quality of City, we put together the 3rd best season ever in the history of the PL and still fell short. But only made the team stronger

Klopp is an inspiration ! Enjoy it everyone!

As a Chelsea fan, happy to do the needful and rubber stamp the win for you tonight after a phenomenal season of football.

Liverpool have been unstoppable all season and tonight was just a formality to seal the deal for a record win with 7 remaining. Speaks for itself.

Well done to Klopp and the team for the emphatic win.

For my part I'm hoping Chelsea can put manners on the league next season but that's not important right now.

    Enjoy it, Liverpool people.

    Congrats lads.
    Congrats.

Chelsea Fan here ... and the league is the bread and butter of the season, only the best team will win it, there is no luck involved.

Always thought I'd hate the day Liverpool would win, but no, fair play ...

Also, pool still on track to best City's 100 points last season. 2 ppg plus 1 point is enough.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,103 ✭✭✭joeguevara

Absolutely well done. Liverpool have been superb. They have been attacking, disciplined and a manager of your dreams.

I’m presuming you would have preferred winning it by beating Coty but it doesn’t matter. Apart from wishing City had began Chelsea as a Spurs fan.

Hopefully a proper celebration can be organised once it is safe to do so. Can only imagine what it feels like. Have a great night.
