Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

Would it be against some sort of regulation to have a dishwasher and oven in a combined cabinet unit?

2 unit high, with the dishwasher on the bottom unit cabinet and oven on high section of the cabinet above .
I thought water and electrical like that may not be combined.

    Thanks

Can't give you the official line (if there is one). But there's clearly nothing that says you can't have a tumble dryer sitting on top of a washing machine so don't see why you couldn't put an oven above a dishwasher. The oven cavity has all round insulation and any heat which leaks will rise so there's no danger of the lower unit getting damaged from heat.

The clearance the dishwasher requires on top (for heat evaporation) may be an obstacle, rather than what type of appliance is above it.

There are no specific electrical regulations that disallow this that I am aware of.

I assume that the dishwasher would be under the oven so I can’t see how this could be a problem other than the oven may be a bit high up for some.
