Is Blessington a good area to move to and raise a family?

    Hi all,

My husband and I currently live in Tallaght and considering moving to Blessington. We liked a couple of houses which are a little away from the town centre. I was wondering if someone could share their experiences of living in the area and if it’s a good place to buy a property and raise a family?

Thanks in advance. Really appreciate your help!
    Kim

It is if you wish for your son/daughter to become a minister.

I lived not far from Blessington for years and my family still live there. Unless you're on the 65 route then you're completely dependent on getting around by car which isn't always ideal.

Really nice place if you want the quiet life. The commute into most of south dublin isn't too bad normally too.

If you really want to fit in with the locals get your chips from Dempseys!
