Did he evict his tenants and time the sale to maximise his 100,000 euro profits and avoid having to pay tax on them.

The tax that pays his and every other public servants wages!

Entirely legal. But cheeky if he comes out to lecture PAYE mugs like myself that we need to find public services. :pac:

entirely legal and exactly as the government intended it to be used.

I have never accused him of doing anything illegal.

He's a wealthy guy, who will when he retires have multiple publicly funded pensions worth in total millions. He's preaching to the rest of us about the need to pay more and not engage in property speculation. He can easily afford to pay more taxes and not avail of tax breaks.

I'm personally sick of these champagne socialists lecturing us all while taking every last cent from the exchequer and failing to contribute fully.

If it turned out, hypothetically speaking, that Michael D was a gay man who came to an arrangement with his wife many years ago when it wasn’t safe for him to come out, why should that matter to anyone other than his family?

it would be a massive scandal (well should be, but in this country wouldn't be) for a president to, hypothetically of course, be spending public money on both a wife and another individual....

How Michael D spends his salary is no one’s business but his own?

So long as that other individual is not an employee of the President, then it is surely a private matter.
