Whatever about globally, but on Boards, many of the same people talking about ALM have an issue with any talk of supporting people on the dole, the homeless, travellers, climate action etc etc etc.

Forgive me if I don't buy someone is truly supportive of ALM when they are very vocal on the above.

And in African countries a white person could be holding the same sign with the words reversed.

America doesn’t represent the whole world.

Just a lot of confused people looking for a group to lead their concerns. Alas they made the poor choice of following BLM, and can't admit that they made a mistake.

I don't think they need to redefine it for it to work. They'll simply repeat that White people have power and Black people don't. It doesn't matter that it's not true. If you repeat it enough times, and loud enough, sure doesn't everyone accept it eventually? (it's worked with feminism as regards to 'reverse' sexism)

Why?

The WLM slogan is a reactionary slogan used predominately by sections of the white supremacist movement and repeated by people who either don't understand it or don't care about its absurdity. There is systemic racism in the US, the idea that there is racial equality is utterly absurd, the idea that white people suffer anything like the discrimination and the consequences of such is laughable.

As I said before in South Africa whites people are discriminated against.

In what way are they discriminated against, is it a conscious institutional/systemic discrimination over generations?
