I presume, since you posted this here, that you're ok if I say what I think: she's the privileged one, privileged to live here in the white Europe, and not in her home country, which I presume again it's one of India/Pakistan/Bangladesh. And those countries are as they are not because of the white colonial man, they were in an even worse shape when the white man came there, albeit in the shape of a single country, and not even that is the fault of the white privileged man.

I can't see things improving too quickly in the US no matter who is elected. It's hard to change direction when you are in freefall.
