It's telling how the issues Reps and Dems both push for are issues the vast majority of Americans do not care about or oppose: Zionism, russophobia, more and more forever wars, drag queen story hour and support for corporations/wealthy. Because these are the concerns of the donors. Republican voters never get the 'wins' on the issues that might actually help Americans, such as immigration. Dems never get the 'wins' on the issues that might actually help Americans, such as healthcare. Even now, Biden and the Dems are desperately trying to escape the expectation of forgiving student debt by executive order because it might help Americans.

Instead American politics is just two sets of voters put at each other's throats over non-issues like abortion and gun control rather than getting anything beneficial. Whats even worse is non-Americans getting sucked into the same game.

I honestly don't know how it hasnt happened already in a country with guns so freely available, such is the vitriolic abuse being displayed by certain groups of people.
I obviously dont want it to happen but it seems inevitable.

Its constant goading by these people and the media are in cahoots with them.

The framed narrative goes on about Trump inciting hate and division, well I dont see many of his supporters out verballly and physically abusing people, burning, looting etc.

There's been a few instances on both sides but it mostly happens with criminals, gangs etc nothing much to do with politics. People think the US is shooting nonstop but 99% of people know that if they start firing they're just as likely to end up dead themselves or in a US prison (which may be worse). As much as people get riled up I think the instinct of self preservation is stronger.

What made you think that she was mocking the BLM protesters? She was holding up a sign that said "I Love OPD" (the local police department). The BLM protestors response was the usual hate-filled abuse and insults.

Locals in Devon/Cornwall telling how when American GIs were in the UK, they segregated Black GIs fro White.
And on many occasions the locals sided with the Black GIs because the whole Segregation concept was abhorrent to the locals.

So history shows how racial discrimination was inherent in US society even then!!

Racial discrimination was an issue decades before the civil rights movement even existed? Not exactly a huge discovery.

OPD is an urban slang term "Other Peoples Drama. On-line Personality Disorder" . Im not American so my knowledge of Police departments ends after NYPD or LAPD.
