Why is he considering pardoning himself for crimes that he said he did not commit? He hasn't been convicted of anything yet, so why the pardon? Are you allowed blanket pardon for all crimes previously committed?

    "To stop the witch hunts".

Don't worry. Trump and those in his cult won't have any difficulty wrapping themselves into pretzels to make sense of it.

Trump running in 2024 would be a great event for Democrats, especially as all sorts of revelations about Trump and his cronies eventually come out in next 4 years.

I say by this stage even the Republicans secretly want him to endup in prison, but to afraid to speak out, look at how he is lashing out against Fox, that could easily be the Republican party next for not supporting him enough
Don Jr. was already lashing out at the GOP a day or two after the election. Senior hasn't fixed his sights on them... yet, but I suspect as more come out to acknowledge or worse, congratulate Biden's win, that will likely change.

US national security has to be at an incredibly high risk, with the country effectively having no president now for the past while. Trump hasn't received a presidential briefing in ages and is preventing Biden from obtaining anything related to security.

He'll need to keep his SuperPAC operating.
This way he can get loads of money, hire all his kids as consultants and direct the money toward his debts and legal bills.
Pretty much all legal as long as he makes the required moves to remain a candidate for 2024.

Plus he's firing and moving people in key roles such as counter terrorism. Basically just throwing things into disarray.

Trump 2020 campaign is massively in debt, zero chance he runs again in 2024.

Trump never cared for debt. He either refinances or burns his creditors.
And didn't Forbes out his worth at $2bn? Where's all that money?

Probably tied up in property. The problem being we have no clear picture of how much they are worth as Trump has slapped about 4 values on all of them, dependant on whether its to show off how much he is worth/great he is "This house is worth $290m, so much....all me" or the IRS "Its only worth $50m"

Just think at how much he lies on a daily basis...now try to imagine how much he has lied about the worth of anything he owns! Nobody knows as he wont release his tax returns (flasly claims he cant because of IRS audit, but they say he is free to do it) and the IRS cant subpoena his finances from accounting bodies as Trump hits back "It would impact his ability to work as President!"...which it wouldnt, he isnt being subpeonad.

Wasn't that another part of the big grift where the re-election campaign was announced on the inauguration day in 2017 so all this cash could keep rolling in?

Keeping two 'adult' sons in superannuated big game animals to shoot is an expensive business to be fair.

Yes and it raised roughly a Billion dollars , most of which seems very difficult to account for given that the campaign is now heavily in the red.

Theres some good articles about this, unsurprisingly a lot of it was completely wasted vs corruption payoffs etc. They were pumping money into DC advertising which is one of the countries most expensive markets that they never had a chance of winning but Trump wanted to see his ads on TV.

There was that , but there were also very large payments into "black box" 3rd party firms that because of the non existent campaign finance laws we have no clarity what the money was for or who the beneficiaries were.

Ivanka getting more "consulting fees" perhaps?

Oh it’s been reported that 130 secret service agents have coronavirus or are isolating due to be being in close contact with a confirmed case.

His press conference is already off the wall, "we developed this vaccine 5 times faster...say it again".

Oh...here comes the petulance, not giving it to NY because he doesn't like Como...dude is a loser.

He's speaking live now on TV [CNN]. The printed words below the live feed says he has no problem with the tabulated results of the election but the campaign will continue the court case. He's talking up the Admin giving Pfizer 2 Billion US dollars and sounds irked with the way that Co has released the news of it's vaccine work.

The thing is though is that his finances have been leaked out, hes losing money on his investments and his dad isnt around to bail him out this time. All the karma could come home to roost after he leaves office expecially if said creditors both decide to either call in debts and refuse to allow him to refinance it. This could easily be far from rock bottom for him hence why he's in such denial about losing the white house, had he won he could have just stonewalled for another 4 years but now he can't and the lawsuits will be coming at him in real numbers.

my god it's like he's still on the campaign trail

He's doing some amount of rambling, and the only reason is that Biden discussed the rising amount of Covid-19 cases.

He did. He's a bit confused it would seem.

I was wondering what the hell a general would be doing getting involved in the PR for.

They're trying to take credit, again, for investing in all the vacines.

Is it not a bit weird to be calling for guinea pigs at a presidential press briefing?

Yeah. Plus his "facts" on protecting the population from Covid-19 are disingenuous to say the least. He seems ratty tonight and I noticed that his hair isn't dyed anymore. A sign that he's giving up.

I mean what modern and civilised states bring in generals to such press conferences.
