Top up Loan

    Hi Folks,

    just wondering how long it takes for a decision to be made on a small top up loan?
    Application went in on the 25th and Im waiting to hear back on it.  Have checked the tracker site and its on Stage 3 but really need to get an answer.

    Loan applications are assessed on a case by case basis, and as a result of this timeframes can vary.

    Generally, updates are sent by email so please keep an eye on your spam/junk folders also.

    Alternatively, if you would like an update on the status of your application you can certainly link in with our lending team on 0818 200 334. One of my colleagues will be more than happy to help.

    A little peeved about this to be honest.  Made the application for a small top up loan a week ago today, and still no update.  According to the guy on the phone yesterday its with the underwriters and should hear back this morning.  Checked the application and its still at the same stage online.
    AIB can turn around a loan application in 3 hours and Im waiting a week for a 5k loan top up.  Im tempted to apply through AIB now as Id have the loan faster at this stage.
