Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Home office deskside, feeling pretty miserable. Dealing with a pretty bad headache, and even paracetamol isn’t helping all that much.

But hey, it could be worse...

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Just went to charge my phone but it started beeping and a message came on saying that there is moisture detected, I got absolutely soaked going to the shop after work and had my phone and charger in my bag so I don't know which has the problem, bet my phone will die now. I got a good charger delivered yesterday but of course I ordered the wrong one, I absolutely hate technology, nothing works for me and I've no patience so never read instructions etc. On a good note I'm heading to my friends for dinner and drinks shortly, cant bloody wait and no work tomorrow makes it even better. Going to try charging my phone again now, wish me luck as I have a feeling it won't end well.

The advice I've always heard is to stick your phone in some rice. That will attract Asians who will diligently conduct the repair work.
Stick it in the hot press for a bit and hope for the best.

    Migraine possibly ?

Inside looking out , chicken curry and chips this evening, nah , not takeaway, homemade.

I'm in a bar having a pint. A guy at the bar decided to buy a couch off a randomer for the bar provided the bar tender would keep it, use it and repair it. The bar tender agreed and they just brought it in after rearranging the current furniture!

Go on describe it in detail Mam! Where did you buy the chicken? What sauce did you use? I know the chips were deep fried and won't be beaten. But were they homemade or frozen? Any veg in the curry? :D

Tech desk. Working for free for now. Camera batteries on charge. Weather good tomorrow, so planning a wee few hours doing stuff nearby,

Would explain a few things, especially given the change in weather, which seems to trigger migraines for me. Must be getting old...

Anyway, relocated to the sofa. Sofa, so good, as they say...

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Brilliant Mam! They charge 13 odd quid for that dish in a pub and its made the same way and is feckin delicious. McDonnells or Knorr sauce knocks the ball out of the park all the time.

Homemade chips deep fried.....I can't find a drool emoji. :D

    Kitchenside.
Some great old friends are over: few drinks, few schmokes, some tunes; about to join them in the living room. So nice to sit here on my own a minute and hear them laugh though - it's been a really tough couple of months for two of them. They're listening to one of my nostalgia playlists and cracking up over stupid stuff we did way back when... I'm looking forward to a good night and a long weekend starting now :)

    Whatever happened to Murphys?

Feeding the cat that's sitting on the kitchen windowsill here .
Noticed her around late at night sporadically the last few weeks , so I leave a bowl of food out before I go to bed . Sometimes it's empty in the morning, other times not .

Guess she has a real home to go to !

The apartment is starting to feel more like home as I decorate it. A bird feeder, candles and fairy lights arrived today, tea light holders and Yankee candle tea lights coming tomorrow! :)

In my dressing gown, pondering the meeting with my solicitor at 11.30am in town.

Don’t worry, I’m not in trouble with the law - it’s a legal matter in relation to my late father’s estate. This issue, dragging on for years and a considerable source of stress to my older sister and I, is finally coming to resolution.

Going to take the afternoon and tomorrow off work to maximize the bank holiday weekend - plan to do some art (painting and sketching) and get stuck back into a novel I’ve been putting aside for weeks.

Hungover and still in the leaba, got a text saying I've a delivery between 11 and 12 so I'll have to get up , I'm off until Tuesday and had great plans to go shopping all day today but I'll be lucky to even get downstairs tbh, its going to be a slow day. My phone is fine tf but I forgot my glasses last night so I'm using the spare ones and they're making my headache worse, woe is me today. ðŸ™

Nope lol. Delivery arrived and left in the patio so I didn't have to budge. I've a headache, tummy ache and nausea, all are mild but the combination is making me sicky, I've decided I'm not moving for the day, sorted.
