Postmobile with suresignal

    Anyone know If a postmobile sim will work with a suresignal device ?

    They have the same mnc and mcc as Vodafone.

    Dont you have to explicitly whitelist devices with a SS?

    Yeah you have email a list of numbers to Vodafone SSIE provisioning team, the number is already with Vodafone and whitelisted on the device, wondering would it continue to work if I port the number to Postmobile.

    Doubt it.

    The network infrastructure doesn't use phone numbers, it uses other identifiers like ICCID and IMEI. While your number would be the same, most other ids would change. IMEI could be static using the same handset.

    There are staff in VF that would know but getting in touch with them through CS would likely be impossible.

    SureSignal is obsolete technology. If you google it, you will see references to units going on fire!

    Use WiFi calling instead - it is the contemporary solution for proving indoor coverage, and doesnt require an additional box on yoir network. Most new phones launched in recent years have supported it. Eir Mobile support the full service on all their bill-pay plans, including voice, text and roaming but Vodafone have a limited voice-only version that just works in Ireland on some of their premium plans. However, I dont know if the Vodafone service is available on Post Mobile - doubtful given that it is only on their own premium plans.
