    My son is going to build a gaming PC. Price between 1k to 1.5k. he has come up with the list below. Any suggestions on his list or anything missing:

    Fill in this to make it easier to spec a machine for you

    1. What is your budget? [€xxx]

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming/Video editing/3D Modelling/HTPC/Internet] (If gaming include which games)

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes/No]

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [Hard drive/DVD Drive/Case/PSU/etc.] (If possible state brand and model of the parts to ensure compatibility)

    My suggestions

    Change the 2060 for a 5700 xt

    Change the 3700x for a 3600

    Change the b450 for a more futureproof board b550 or x570 ... see if you can get a board with wifi on it

    750 watt psu looks a bit ott

    Look at something like the KOlink enclave 700W for around €90. PSU is important but €165 is overkill.

    I would steer clear of the 5700xt personally if it's a first time build. I may be jaded by my experience but I'm on my third try to get one working properly. Cutting back to a 3600 though I do recommend. With the savings he could probably go to a 2070 super.
