Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Virgin Broadband and Sky TV

I'm about to move house and look forward to consigning my Horizon box to the scrapheap.

Is it possible to get Sky TV while using VM broadband?

I know it'll be more expensive but ideally I'd like to stick with VM for internet and get Sky's TV with all its bells and whistles. I remember there used to be a requirement for a phone line for Sky which is why I ask.

Yep, no need for a phone line any more, and you’ll more than likely be provided with a Sky Q box - more bells and whistles again! :D

To give you some idea of what to expect, there’s an update to Sky Q in the pipeline -

Sky Q July 2020 update: What's new in the biggest feature update since launch?

Shouldn’t be any problems using Virgin Media broadband, I remember a few people in the now defunct Talk to Sky forum on here had the same setup as you’re going with - Sky for tv, VM for Broadband.

Might be worth checking too if you can get Sky Ultrafast Broadband (beats the pants off VM).

Thanks. The Ultrafast isn't available there (yet) so I'll stick with VM for now.

The Sky Q is the big attaction.
