Who are we to say that our culture is right though?

Seriously? That's a creepy sentence. It's right for our nations. It's not right to impose it on others. If they want it, they'll adopt it for themselves.
Our cultures evolved independently and are very different but from an outside view we can't say that our culture is good and their culture is bad as we were brought up in our Western culture. Every country should have a right in how their country is run.

Lovely. Since I didn't suggest anything even remotely related to that.
Absolutely there should not be foreign armies in The Middle East. Oil and arms deals are the only reasons that even happens. The people profiting from these proxy wars should be jailed.

The West was involved in the M.East before oil, or weapon sales became a thing.

I'm honestly shocked. Surely they knew the gravy (oil) train wasn't going to last forever? A few gold plated Ferrari's aside surely they are well positioned?

    This should start you off.

Is there a law that any thread about Jews inevitable draws in the Israel/Palestine conflict?
    Like Godwin's law or something?

It seems clear the slogan of the Houthi movement applies to more than the Houthis
    Death to Israel
    God curse the Jews

Realistically you need to provide evidence from a website that is not 100% anti-Israel.

It's like formulating your opinion on Dubs exclusively from the 'People's Republic of Cork' forum.

Are you as worried about the Kurds in North Syria/South Turkey? Are you boycotting Turkey?

How about Israel's longest running newspaper?

Unfortunately ME countries that have housed Jews for thousands of years have already or are now cleansing them, it's not just Yemen.
    Jordan, Egypt, Iran, Saudi etc

What's happening in Yemen and what happened in Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, The rest of the Arab peninsula and North Africa in the first 60-70 years of the last century is disgusting.
But you can't really lump Iran in there, before or after the Islamic Revolution.

Jews in Iran are a recognised protected ethnic minority, as are the various Christian groups and have protected seats in national and regional parliaments. There are monuments to Jewish hero's of the Iran -Iraq war around the city. Synagogues around the city even have a quote from Ruhollah Khomeini from 1979 painted on them which stresses that Iranian Jews should never conflated with the state of Israel and Judaism should be accepted as part of Iran.

Over 12,000 Jewish Iranians live on Tehran alone and a few thousand more in other large cities.
They own businesses, have their own schools, supermarkets and even run the longest running charitable hospital (which provides amazing services to some of the poorest people in the city regardless of their ethnicity or religion).

There are issues, they can't hold certain high ranking government or military jobs for example. Another issue being that the legal right for Iranian Jews to observe the Sabbath and work from home on Saturdays can sometimes be an issue with gaining employment as employers will sometimes higher someone else rather than lose a worker for a day every week.

However, unlike many European countries where right wing nationalists have been very actively attacking Jewish places of worship, Jewish businesses and religious buildings have no need for security.

Iran is one of the safest countries on the planet for toursits and ethnic minorities alike. Go to Tehran, visit some Christian and Jewish shops and restaurants, the restaurants run by members of the Jewish and Armenian Christian communities are some of the only places that can legally produce and consume alcohol in the country and they make very nice wines and low abv beers.

It's not an apartheid state though - Arab Israelis can, and do, vote.

There are dozens of laws that limit where they can live, build, go to school, make a career, or marry.

    Pull the other one.

And that's not even including the hundreds of apartheid laws applied to Palestinians living under 5 decades of illegal occupation and military rule.

There used to be thousands of Yemeni Jews now very few. Now for the second time in 70 yrs they are being ethnically cleansed killed and harassed.

They have put jews under house arrest. They have cut off water electricity to jewish areas and towns they have stopped food deliveries.

The last time there was a big anti semitic push in yemen was the 50s and 60s. Many were forced to leave and arrived in Israel on foot with nothing.

The Houthis are a pro Iran shia group.

Their flag is basically hate speech it says 'Death to America Death to Israel Curse the Jews'.

Now they have stated they want to rid Yemen of Jews totally.

Yemeni jews have a rich culture and have been there thousands of years. They are peaceful and gentle. They are Yemeni they speak Arabic ..they are arab jews.

    36geJ.jpg

Houthis force them to hand over their land and property to houthi leaders. They have to leave ..but just like the last time ...they are not allowed take anything with them.

Why does '404' appear on the screen when that link is clicked?

Iran has the second largest Jewish population in ME, outside Israel itself.
There are 15K? Persian Jews in Iran as opposed to during the Shah when there were maybe 80K
Iran also helped protect its Jews from the Nazis during the 2nd WW.
When Israel formed Iran helped Jews move there.
I think they as Persians shared with the Israelis a commonality in that they are not Arab.

Now Israel is enemy #1 and Persian Jews were trial in 2000 accused of illegal contact with Israel, conspiracy to form an illegal organization and recruiting agents, which provoked vandalism and boycotts of Jewish businesses. “This was the largest wholesale attack against the Jewish community.”

At the moment there seems to be a pretty stable relationship between the Jews and the government. Long may it last.

The existence of Israel doesn't seem to be of much help to the Yemeni Jews.

Actually there would be a lot more Jews in Yemen facing this, but for Israel taking them in during the last century.
You don't care either, just another so-called Christian without an actual Christian bone in his body, just using the religion when it suits to justify his own sh*tty prejudices and whinge about sjws

At least I am not two faced pretending to be all caring, but really your idea of caring boils down to caring about only one side.
You and your fellow believers seem to have an intense hatred of ones own culture, background, race, people for some reason.

Oh and even though raised Catholic I am not religious so you are kinda right I don't have a christian bone in my body.

I am not allowed discuss …

The sooner we can fully move past oil as a basis for energy generation, and leave this region to its devices the better. So many terrible regimes propped up by oil revenue.

We will use Oil for long time, it will get more expensive but it will be used.

It's people like you that is destroying the west today, with this crap.

The proof is simple, You didn't move to the ME, marry a local, send your children to the schools and all the while, you are wearing a huge Golden Crucifix around your neck.

I once had a neighbor, who was an Iranian Christian, she escaped Iran, Raped and penniless.
You should tell her how mistaken she was about the place.

When most people think of attacks on Jews in Europe, they don't blame "right wing nationalists"

The antagonism between Israel and Iran is tragic really. The Persian empire helped save Judaism from extinction. Cyrus the Great rebuilt the Temple in Jerusalem, and is honored in the Old Testament.
