Sinn Féin TD, Aengus Ó Snodaigh was one of those to object to the plan.

On this occasion, I'd also have objections. No objection to the high density but the bulk of these are build to rent. These becoming more common now and there will be a lack of housing available for people to buy going forward if these become the norm.

Build to rent isn't helping the crisis if we need state aid to afford the rent or the tax payer through Social Housing is the tenant.

'Shinnbot' is a SF TD pretending to not be a shinner while posting pro SF material online? :)
Also the NIMBYISM, it isn't in his back yard.

Disclaimer: can't stand him wouldn't vote for him.

There are two sectors and having a policy for the rental is just as important for market stability. This type of scenario is standard in Germany and Austria, where they are borrowing a lot of the ideas from.

The only way to improve the crisis is to increase supply.

Its certain that SF political power grows as a result of perveived homelessness....and so they object to new homes.
