I'd say the scammers need the patients of a saint with some of the lesser smart people so to speak...where's the Start button.

I trolled a scammer who had rang up my dad about the virus on his computer.

I was purposely stupid, revealing after about 20 minutes of looking for the start button that I was on a Mac(which I wasn't)

To 'pay' for his services we had to send $200 via western union to a shop in Karachi, Pakistan. So I transferred money via western union and sent him a screenshot of the receipt, but, did a little photoshop magic first. I actually only sent $2 but added a couple 0's to the reciept.

    And the piece de resistance:

"Oh oops, I sent it to the wrong shop. Sorry mr tech wizard, I selected Khatra, not Karachi".

Khatra is in India and about 300 miles away.

All in all took about an hour, so he had an international phonebill for an hour, the code for a $200 transfer which is a LOT of money in Pakistan, but its 4-5 hours away. I often wonder did he go to Khatra to collect the money only to discover it was $2.

Surely that could be taken to the ASAI?! If they will ban that tampon ad they should ban Ray Darcy for that entirely false description...
