Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hello. Not sure if this is the right place for this but I’d love help identifying the type of wood my floor is made from. I’m hoping we can refinish it into something prettier! It’s a dark reddish brown five finger / checkerboard/ basketweave parquet from the early 70s. An unfinished section under the stairs is also quite reddish. I sanded it a little with an orbital sander and the colour didn’t really change. It’s a very hard wood, can’t dent/scratch it easily. I’m including some pics of both the finished and raw wood. Thanks for your help.
