USB C docking station

I bought this USB docking station when it was on sale for £20 off https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B082WT3FL4 My work laptop does not have a USB C port. Would this docking station work with a USB C to USB A adapter? edit: researched a bit more and looks like the HD port won't be working
