Are all restaurant’s limited to 105 minute sittings

Have a few days away booked in two weeks which includes a Michelin star tasting menu meal.

Having had a few tasting menus before..105 minutes would feel very rushed and ruin the experience for us.

Waiting for clarification from hotel before cancelling.

Looking at the following guidelines, it’s seem a little unclear if the 105 minutes only applies when tables are not spaced at least 2 meters apart?

If you’re ‘waiting for clarification’, it suggests that you’ve asked them to make a formal statement as to how long you can occupy the table. That is a not very sensible way to do it.

Instead, be Irish, avoid a direct question and ask if they will be ‘flexible’ on the time you can occupy the table. They will almost certainly reply in the affirmative.
