65inch TV with sound bar

Hi guys

I’m looking for a recommendation for a TV with soundbar combination. I’m looking at around 65inch. It won’t be hooked up to Sky or equivalent but I will be plugging it into an aerial/satellite at the wall - so ideally something that will facilitate my cord cutting ambition with Saorview/Freesat etc. I will be streaming Netflix and others. It won’t be used for gaming so that part is not relevant. Both items will be wall mounted. My initial thoughts were something in the €1000 range for the TV and I have an open mind about the soundbar.

So both look pretty good but I'm struggling to figure out whats the difference between the two. Why pay the extra €70?

In relation to the soundbar, my preference would be to not have a separate subwoofer. I know the advantages of one but the feng shui is better with just the bar

Hi Ihaveanopinion.

The cheaper of the two sets uses Nano cell technology and in my opinion would give the better image of the two.

The more expensive one is direct lit and this give a better contrast of the colours.
Both are 50Hz and 10bit (8Bit +2 FRC). Both also come with the LG magic remote.
Both are also the same motion processing power.

For a soundbar without a subwoofer there is the Yamaha I mentioned above.

How do the Beam and the Yamaha stack up against one another? Is wall mounting an option with both?

I have older Sonos gear and I think the Beam is Sonos S1 compatible so it would work with my older system. Do you have it in black also?

Hi Ihaveanopinion.

Personally I think the Beam is the one to go for. Not only does it produce a good sound for your TV it is great for music and can tie in with your current Sonos products.

For wall mounting the Beam their is the beam bracket priced at 59 Euro
