Does anyone have a rough idea of the size of OOM for the likes of Kilkenny/Laois, or mid-ranking counties population-wise? Placed 161 in Laois and 171 in KK.

It means that there more people applied for the second county and therefore you are further down the list

Cool thanks just the N/A is beside open and interdepartmental in the two diff counties so I wasn’t sure... I’m currently in the civil service

They only on Letter M so presume your county is a higher letter ?

    OOM 900s for Dublin interdepartmental.

What are the chances of being called to the next stage?

I'll be honest, I didn't practice at all for this stage.

I'll take it more serious if I do get to next stage.

    Thanks

    Meg

I got 115 OOM for Dublin. I've never done this before so I have no idea how good or bad this but reading a few posts here there seems to be have been a lot of candidates for Dublin? Also what is next stage, what is etray?

That's a very good score for Dublin, well done.

I ranked around 1200 in the interdepartmental stream for Dublin. Anyone with experience of previous competitions know if PAS ever reached this number for the second stage?

Congratulations to everyone who has passed and are happy with their oom!

Hey! What about Roscommon, I got nothing. :(

Interesting, my first preference county oom was delivered to my public jobs profile.
My second preference county however was sent directly to my email address.

That's odd, they seem to be doing it alphabetically.

    Passed delighted

    Mid 200's for Leitrim
    Mid 400's for Sligo

    Numerical best score

Condolences to all who didn't pass although thinking with them oom might be as well not having passed.

Beat of luck to everyone already passed and those still waiting

    That's excellent result.

You should be among first batch called to next stage.

Etray is meeting deadlines (different scenarios) basically how you deal with changes at short notice and also how to draft professional letters, emails etc..

Further to your participation in Stage 1 (Questionnaire, Verbal assessment and Numerical Assessment) in respect of your candidature for the above competition, I am pleased to inform you that you have reached the qualifying standard and have been placed on the order of merit for Leitrim.

Does this not mean that I have gotten through to the next round?

I'm beside myself with shock today.

    Within top 500 for Dublin.
    Within top 50 for Louth.

Apparently I did amazing on that numerical reasoning test; shame it wasn't part of the overall score or I'd probably be much higher in both. But I'm hoping that these OOMs will be enough to get me an interview. Quite the turn-around from 5,400th+ in the CO competition.
