Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bathroom Fan

Can a bathroom fan be wired to the shower pull cord so that it only comes on when it is activated?
Its currently run from the ceiling lights but if these are on it is constantly running and if these are dimmed it turns off but I am worried that a reduced power feed still going to the fan may damage the motor or overheat.
    Any help appreciated.

It can be done but the two circuits need to be kept seperate.
Does the fan have a timer ?
you need a current sensor on the feed to the shower. When the shower is switched on it closes a contact and sends the run signal to the fan.

You'd have to get someone to install and certify it.
Your other option is to have a switch fitted and manually control the fan.
