    Hi,
Looking for advice on by passing Hot water motorised valve.
We have Solar for hot water. At times when Solar functions fully on sunny day(rare these days though) some where in the system thermostat is not properly regulated.
On cold day, when I turn on gas for hot water, gas is not heating water as expected but rads are heating up.
There is an faulty motorised valve, I am thinking to take it out so I will have hot water when ever Gas heating is on.

    1. Will it be OK to take this motorised valve for hot water ?

    2. If I take out motorised valve, in winter when heating will be fully on will it cause any issue to tank because to over heating ?

    3. To replace it will be costing around €80-120 including labor

Is it worth to replace or can I simply by pass it.

    Thanks in advance

You should be able to manually throw the valve open and get some hot water. The little motor is probably burn out. On one i've seen before, its a little lever that can push open.

Manual controlling is not working either. I couldn't exactly figure out which mode is working.
it works at times and some times not working.
