Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Profiled Roof Sheeting - Drainage Issue

    Hi,

I have a shed with profiled roof sheeting. A combination of a lack of fall and overhang means the water is not running fully into the gutter. Overhang is about 25mm. Fall is about 1:20.

I am proposing to fix a flashband under the overhang to prevent water entering the shed, see attached. Also, I will try and mechanically fix a small angle to front of the overhang to divert the majority of the water into the gutter. The profiled shape makes fixing the flashband difficult, I will be heating and applying a primer.

Another option would be to lap a piece and under the existing overhang. More work but possible a more robust fix. I don’t want to replace the entire roof.

    Any advice is welcome.

    Paul.
