    Hello.

I am just looking for some information, i plan on getting a new TV for when the new Xbox comes out.
Looking for information on pricing and availability.

LG seems to be the best for what i want, so looking at:

    LG 55B9
    LG 55C9
Will these still be available in a few months or have they been discontinued?

And  then the main one i am looking at is the LG 48CX.

    Thank you.

    Hi Sackamano,

    Thanks for the post!

The OLED55C9 and the B9 are now discontinued however I have a very small amount of the B9 left at £1098/1149 euro. Once they are gone they are completely finished though and I can't guarantee them even for a week so definitely not a few months.

The OLED48CX series is due out and it is looking like it could be the end of August before we have those in but they should be available when you are looking for them in a few months! Unfortunately at the moment I have no pricing available on them!

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    David

I was under the impression that gaming on an OLED was a no no?

    Hi BrownFinger.

    Not at all.

You just need to be careful with image retention but if you are taking regular breaks and not just playing the one game for 10 hours a day 7 days a week then you should be fine.

I would always tell customers to treat OLED like Plasmas and you will be fine.
Running the pixel refresh every few weeks helps too.

I have had my OLED now for 3-4 years, I'm a big gamer and have had no issues at all with mine.

    Kenny.

    Thanks Kenny .
I've avoided playing anything on the OLED I bought off you last year for fear of ruining it.
Not that I have time to game at all anymore!

    Hey BrownFinger.

If you are a casual gamer you should have no issues.

It really does make some games look amazing!!
