Americas no1 problem right now is far left violence, here trump brings up the man who was executed by the far left that thugs that then cheered after shooting the innocent guy in the face. You guys who support this are on the wrong side of history.[/YOUTUBE]

You're right, I absolutely don't support the president taking sides prejudicially. It only divides the country farther. America's number one problem is Trump's toxic 'leadership.'

Is it? The No 1 problem?

Not Covid! The economy? Far right terrorism? Gun control?

But let's go with your premise for a second. Who has been in charge the last 4 years and let this far left violence become such an issue?

It wasn't as bad under Obama.

Trump: You know a choker they choke. Shooting a guy in the back many times couldn’t you have done something different... in the meantime he might have been going for a weapon... but they choke just like in a golf tournament they miss a 3 foot putt.

    He’s not well.

For once he is right. Despite all the attempts to defend the police on this thread and elsewhere, clearly the police lost control of the situation and panicked.

You can be certain that the supporters will change tack now. No longer trying to defend the officer, now it will probably be that this is a once off, lone officer that choked.

Trumps gaslighting is working clearly. The nearly 200k dead from Covid is not the #1 problem. Unreal.

Well they were going to die at some stage so that doesn’t count.

Also, this is absolutely disgusting stuff from Trump; Trump demands 'patriotic education' in U.S. schools

    That, coupled with this;

    https://twitter.com/emilyrauhala/status/1300512694634713089

There's not really a massive difference between Trump and the CCP in many ways. Trump and Conservatives will talk big words about supporting HK protestors, and speak out against China cracking down on them. They'll say they oppose the new National Security Law and the indoctrination of Hong Kong children.......but they're hypocrites. They don't support the principle behind either, the only purpose is to try and give China a bloody nose.

You can easily see why Trump is seeking education reform when you have crazy professor's like this teaching in public universities that are funded by the tax payer saying that speech is violent and creating a victim culture.

If you don't see any problem with this then you're part of the problem.

The American public in general don't have the attention span to focus on one issue for too long. They're always moving on to the next thing, something to grab their attention, its like flicking through youtube. Trump just sits nicely in this frame as he never stays on any substantive issue, he just jumps from one crisis to the next, but hes moved on before it even fleshed out so he avoids any intense scrutiny. Its just an entertaining soap opera for most of them.

Hey LessOutrage, any reason why you're not addressing the fact you're actively trying to lie about coronavirus deaths? Your browsing of far right websites and dropping the websites they're sharing also makes for a pretty pointless person to debate with.

Brilliant straw man you've built there.

You don't think there's anything wrong with changing the curriculum of a nation's educational system to focus on patriotism and national exceptionalism? Why is it OK for Trump to do it, but not the CCP in Hong Kong?

Nothing wrong with learning about how great America was in the past and how it came to be that great.

You can't criticise the CCP in China or speak out against them but you can can criticise Trump and America so there is no comparing the 2. There is no censorship in America but there is in China where they try to control everything.

America is the land of the free and the home of the brave in case you've forgotten.

There is an absolutely massive problem if you come at education with the main purpose of instilling a sense of patriotism and American exceptionalism in children.

I don't think you really know all that much about the CCP or what is going on in Hong Kong judging by this post, to be honest. What Trump is talking about for school kids is exactly what people are against right now in Hong Kong. What's the difference between downplaying the wrongs of slavery and downplaying the events June 4th, 1989?

And yet many are terrified of unisex toilets and equality!

America is many things but home of the brave it most certainly isn't.

War on terror, terror on the streets, minorities taking over, taking away your guns, etc etc. America is in a constant state of being scared.

If Trump gets re-elected Laura Ingraham should get the Presidential Medal of Freedom for how she steered Trump through that interview. Any proper journalist would have actually questioned him on the things he was saying.

Didn't Trump just try to stop people criticising him on facebook and twitter. And yet you with no irony whatsoever state theres no such thing as censorship in the US. Right now there isn't but if Trump had his way he'd be ruler for life and everyone would doff the cap. Its why he admires dictators so much. Its a position he craves, everyone telling him how great him is. Monuments in his likeness (he wanted his face on Mount Rushmore), parades in his honour.

Thats government policy since the 50s. Keep people scared. Theres always been a boogeyman, the Russians, the communist expansion, the arabian terrorists, . In the last few years its had no focal point on external threat so its turned in on itself. American vs American. Once they start bombing some other poor unfortunate this will pass and they'll go back to hating other boogeymen. Their TV stations are constantly pedaling local fear too.

he did. he has the demeanour of a 13 year old with poor social skills. If the US is the land of the free it is being led by a lifelong coward. if he hadn't been born into money he would be either dead or in prison.

Is that why he wants Twitter to let him block people that are being mean to him? America hasn't been home to the "brave" for a very long time.

    Joe sharp as ever!!!!

Not that they'll ever happen, but cannot wait for the debates :D

Joe's handlers must be really worried, I wonder what they'll inject him with if they go ahead ?
    speed ?

America has it's problems of course but they aren't comparable with hellholes like Saudi, Syria, Iraq or a ton of African countries.

People need to cop on and get some perspective and stop buying the msm cool aid being sold at present.

Still the greatest country on earth imo.

Are Trump fans still trying to push people to make this about cognitive ability?

It's a risky play given the sheer volume of clips, especially recently of Trump slurring his words, babbling incoherently and getting distracted. You get one of these slip-ups every couple of days from Biden while with Trumpo, you get them every time he speaks.

Give them a break. It's all they have to work with. They're doing their best.

How many more times will this be trotted out? This and the "most people would have died anyway from underlying conditions" were the 2 main Fox News approved talking points from yesterday. I guess it's still a bit early for the distribution of today's talking points.
