Nah. "Shut up, man!" is the line of the decade.

Trump has openly denounced white supremacists over 10 times at this point, its a tiresome question.

Joe hasn’t condemned radical left violence or violence in the name of / instruction of BLM once.

Antifa violence is like religious violence, conducted in the name of an ideology, but similar to religions there are groups , meetings, communities around that ideology, antifa is as recognisable as a group as any smaller religion.

Fact check: Joe Biden has condemned protest-related violence all summer

Tempted to quote Ben Shapiro here.

Should have been easy to answer so - "yes Chris I totally denounce them". Instead he went asking for which group, which group and then told the Proud Boys "stand back and stand by" - clear dog whistle to them.

Tiresome? Does he need to take a nap, or maybe another round of golf to take his mind of the hurt he's causing to his proud boys.

'Stand back and Stand by' is going to be spoken about for the next 20 years.

Both when analysing Trump, this Presidential campaign and talking about phrases used within extremists groups.

    Allowed by whom?

Trump stated last night that the right needed groups like Proud Boys to protect against the left. Not the police, or the law, but militia vigilante groups are the defence.

POTUS admitted last night that he has no ability to control this left violence. Let that sink in. The POTUS, which all the law enforcement at his disposal, has given up trying to protect Americans and has asked for a vigilante group to be prepared to deal with it.

This is the man that apparently stands for Law and Order, openly calling for the suspension of Law and Order in order ot deal with a problem he has failed to deal with.

    What was the 2vs1?
Chris Wallace is from fox news...
He did an absolutely horrendous job Trump constantly interrupted Biden when he was attempting to talk.
Trump was an absolute disaster all bluster and zero content

It's telling then that he couldn't do it last night.

Trump lie: "Joe called African Americans super predators"

This is probably the biggest lie. In relation to a 1994 crime bill Biden spoke of getting predators off the streets. He made no mention of race or of super predators.

"The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it" said one notorious German leader.

Unbelievable that the Dems had 5 years to ready themselves for this fight and they wheel out Biden. It's like putting a retired punch drunk boxer up against an elderly but enthusiastic white-collar MMA fighter.

Because Trump didn't and the knockout blow on the dementia suffering low energy Basement dwelling Biden, it has to be because of someone else.

It cannot possibly be Trump's fault.

It always needs to be someone else. If only Wallace had been on Trumps side, then Trump would have been able to deal with Biden properly.

It's the main talking point that the Trumpists have after the debate. Claiming that Chris Wallace was unfair to poor little Donald. This was predicated by a few posters on here to be the angle over the last couple of days. The dementia angle has gone by the wayside and hardly any mention of drugs or earpieces either.

thats ok . everyone entitled to an opinion.

Welcome to a country that had
A Taoiseach (Leo) for 3 years that was never mandated by a popular vote , he just assumed the seat after the other guy moved on
A country that had no government for 3-4 months during a global pandemic.
A country whos current leader was instrumental in a 40 billion euro collpase of the the countrys finance and taxpayers continue to pay off that debt
A country and a cabinet where the party who won the popular vote, won the highest % first preference has no representation at cabinet.

Taoisigh are not mandated because this is not America. Only TDs are mandated and the person who commands the most leads the government.

As for last night I imagine both sides are going to portray this based on their preconceptions and it hasn't moved anyone's opinions of either candidate and if anything just convinced more swing voters to stay home

It's incredible that with such a weak candidate, Trump supporters are left calling a conspiracy that Wallace is a secret DNC plant.

If you really believe Biden is so bad, how poorly does that reflect on Trump that he couldn't debate with him?

    Did you watch the debate?

Trump was agitated, belligerent and unable to focus on any topic other than Biden. He never once engaged with the audience (the viewers) and immediately got on the wrong side of the moderator.

Biden, by comparison, appeared empathetic and Presidential.

The war isn't over but last nights battle was no contest.

That's his issue though; he can condemn white supremacy when he's reading from a prepared speech, but almost any time he's asked directly and has to speak extemporaneously, he can't do it.

All he had to say in response to the question last night was "Of course I denounce white supremacy, as I have many times before and always will do". That's it. It was absolutely as softball as it gets, because white supremacists would still vote for Trump anyway.

Instead, Biden mentions Proud Boys, and Trump tells them to "Stand back and stand by"

He couldn't have fluffed that question any more if he tried.

these debates in here are as pointless as the presidential debates themselves...

    minds are closed

it's a race to the bottom and these debates are a circus

Biden recovered from a poor start but lost his temper twice. You can be guaranteed that Trump's team will focus on what set him off and you'll see many attempts to get at him in the next debate.
Biden just needs to stay calm and not say too much and he'll be in the White House.
Sad thing is the Democrats could have had a much younger candidate who would have destroyed Trump last night.

That’s the thing i can’t understand, why haven’t they got a much younger candidate??
Any good debater would destroy Trump and reduce him to a gibbering mess. There has to be thousands of people out there who could do it.
Biden looks like he’ll do well to survive until November let alone for four years after that.

Tiresome? Does he need to take a nap, or maybe another round of golf to take his mind of the hurt he's causing to his proud boys.

Also you should ask yourself why it feels tiresome to criticize white supremacists while forever banging on about antifa, the Communists and the radicals..

Maybe, just maybe for one iota of a second let it sink in that he wants and counts of these proud boys or people of their ilk to stay in power.

But, yeah let's deflect to Joe didn't do this or Joe didn't do that (when he actually did).

IT'S THERE BOYS, LET IT IN.. and start dealing with it instead of defending/deflection bull.

They want to reduce Brazilian production of food, that feeds more than 1 billion people on the world. Countries like China or Iran depends on it. Those democrats are a danger for the other countries, look at how many problems Obama created on Arab countries.

Trump speaks of supporting the police, then strips them of $400 million dollars. Comical almost.

Says the sherriff of Portland supports him, sherriff categorically denies it.

Says democrat cities have seen a rise in violence, ignores the fact republican cities have seen the same rise.

Calls antifa a terrorist organisation, contradicting the foremost law enforcement officer in the country who said there is no evidence for this.

Said he'd condemn white supremacy and then refuses, saying they should "stand by".

Said Joe Biden won't condemn violence when Biden had repeatedly done so.

Those are just some of Trumps lies from the law and order segment!

Antifa is a bogeyman anyway. You can't really be strong on cracking down of speaking out against it because there is nothing really there to crack down on

Can't wait until Wednesday morning for the meltdown in here. Mods will more than likely attempt to bar me and other posters who point out Biden as the extremely weak candidate he is because of their hatred for the president. :D

    Good times.

So eh how did that work out for you? :D:pac:
