One thing to bear in mind with him is none of his 25 goals last year were penalties. Villa don’t really have a defined penalty taker either so he might be able to slide into that role also

Jamal Lewis for Newcastle has been added at 4.5. Surely he starts. Their fixtures aren’t the worst long term. Not fond of a Southampton double up so might bring him in.

I only watched him play on opening night last season, does he offer attacking points potential?

One goal and no assist in 2000+ Minutes for Norwich last season but Liverpool nearly bought him which bodes well given their scouting seems pretty good these days.

I’ve got Lascelles as my 4.5 at the moment due to Newcastle’s good run of fixtures.

Yes but stats might not be a true reflection of a player who was in a crap Norwich team last season. Is Lewis the only specialist LB in the Newcastle squad? I think Lewis is looking like a better option than Vinagre right now.

He was being linked with them a week ago but it seems likes it will actually happen now. Another 4.5 starting keeper option would be great, I'd have him ahead of Johnstone, has proven himself a good keeper and is in a more established team.

Strange one. Martínez isn't going to agree to be a number two again so Ryan may be off.

Think I will throw Martínez into my starting squad. He'll have to bench GW1 but could be good to have once he moves. If his price was being set after a €20m transfer to another club where he was likely to be no.1 I'd say he would be priced at 5, if not 5.5.

Interesting that Brighton are now in for him, I wonder did they let Button go expecting to bring in a new no.1 and Ryan become no.2?
