Hi guys, We're in the process of buying our first home at the moment! Not a lot of work to do on it to move in, mainly cosmetic. Getting a survey done next week. Hi guys,

We're in the process of buying our first home at the moment! Not a lot of work to do on it to move in, mainly cosmetic. Getting a survey done next week.

One thing we'd like to do before we move in, is remove the wall under the stairs & replaster the walls (there's a cupboard space with a door, not maintained well on the inside).

We're not sure yet if the wall is supporting the stairs or not, but it seems to just be plasterboard.

Could anyone please give me a rough price range if it is supporting them, and also a rough price if its not?

We plan on getting the floors done for both sitting room & hall after, if we can get the wall sorted.
