Heavy clouds and light rain here in Dublin 9.

Scratch that, rain getting heavier and mixed with sleet/snow. Not quite cold enough, alas.

Miserable icy rain north Offaly. Gone from lovely winter scenes to muck in a couple of hours.

precipitation stopped about 30 minutes ago, still some slushy bits on the grass. Looks like more organised rain is on the way, of course there is always a mild sector when precipitation is around.

Raining now here in North County Dublin its like snow never happened.

I wonder what is it like up the Wicklow Mountains. What's the snow cover like up there now?

Sure isn't that why the precipitation exists in the first place!!!

Very light coverage up there now, a bit more above 700m where the snow hung on from a few days ago.

You can always tell a mild sector is on the way when an organised band of precipitation appears.

Cloudy, dull day here in wexford. No snow but a hard frost this morning, everything was white.

surprised by how heavy the precipitation is, most of it is rain and sleet, this was very close to being a snow event, a shame as it would have dumped several inches here if the conditions were favourable.

Raining away modetatedly enough in Carlow town this past hour or so, little bit of sleet in it but if it were snow I'm sure it'd have given a nice covering by now :-(

Yeah renewed wintry-ness here in S.Kildare. Back to sleet the last 30 minutes with some dinnerplates thrown in now and then.

    Not a bad oul attempt.
